First Choose-day Challenge

Okay, I reached my hand into the magic 'First Choose-day box' and drew out the word connection. What can I do with that? A telephone connection? Connection between two people? Making a connection between two ideas? Hmm, all kinds of possibilities with this one.

The guidelines are very loose. Small format, any technique, finished by the end of the month...and that's about it.

I'm excited about this challenge idea. Anyone want to join me? If so, please leave a comment so that I know you're out there.

Hi Cat,
I'll be in it. Connection sounds great, got no idea what I will do but will think of something.
Are you a member of Southern Cross Quilters? This is a yahoo group for online Aussie quilters, they might be interested.
Looking forward to seeing what we both come up with.

Goodmorning Cat,

I'm feeling brave and will give this a go - I'll be driving around 1,000 km this week in my work so lots of thinking time. Connection! already the ideas are buzzing - ideas of community? consequences of connection? I'll let you know how it goes,
thank you

Connection...that's a brilliant word. Leaves open so much room for exploration and possibilities.

I can't wait to select my words tomorrow. I'll post them on my blog as well.

Hi Cat,
I would love to join in as often as I can, I already have my idea for my quilt. I will make this the start of my quilt journal and I will tell its story along the way. I am hoping to try heaps of new techniques and get them done fast as I am ususally slow. I have a blog so I will be posting things there.
Thanks for the great idea.

Hi Cat,
I am so glad that you started this. I will definately be joining in as often as I can. I am going to make it the start of my quilting journal journey and will tell the story along the way. I love the word. Am I allowed to use your word or do I have to use my own???
I will blog it too so everyone can see.
