This quilt was started in about 2000, I think. I saw a photo of a quilt by Mary E Fox, and it inspired me to try something similar. It turned out very dramatic. I'm still trying to think of a name for it. Anyone have any ideas?
Tomorrow I'll be back to making some more atc's. I should have some photos to share later in the week. I also bought some fabric paints to play with, and have my first batch of rust dyeing brewing now. It's been a creative week!

two challenges in one
This little quilt is a combination of this month's chooseday challenge and the journal quilt for another group I am in. It was great fun to make. the chooseday challenge this month was 'acid' so I thought of using 'acid trip'. It evolved into more of a 60's love fest than an acid trip, but that's okay. The journal quilt topic was graffiti or colour - this is definitely colourful!
little boxes
Just as a break from making quilts, I've been making little boxes. The instructions came from the Fiber & Stitch website and they were very easy to make. I'm thinking about doing some more using the squares of African fabric that I have hidden away in my stash.
